Tony Nunziato for NY State Assembly

Dear Editor:

I have been a resident of this community all my life, and I’m tired of the lack of representation in the 30th Assembly District. The incumbent has negatively impacted our neighborhoods by her failure to proactively represent us. We are overtaxed, yet she voted for repeal of the commuter tax thereby costing us hundreds of millions of dollars per year in revenue. Under her so-called representation, we have suffered from overdevelopment, illegal construction, traffic congestion and the decline of our quality of life. We need new leadership in the 30th Assembly District. Tony Nunziato deserves to be elected. He is a proven civic leader and community activist, who tirelessly advocates for us and our neighborhoods. Tony has a passion for service and for developing creative solutions for problems, such as his Truck Bypass Plan to alleviate traffic congestion along Maspeth’s Grand Avenue. We have a great opportunity to elect Tony Nunziato as our Assemblyman. We need representation and we deserve no less than the best.
